The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) identifies Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) as an individual service area for certification (L4). The following subjects are covered:
• General ADAS
• Camera-based Systems

• Ultrasonic (Sonar)-based Systems
 
There are 40 questions on the exam and 2 hours is given to complete it.
